NOBIQ Smart Fish Processing
A Cleaner Fish-Processing Ecosystem
Less handling · Controlled processing · Cleaner preparation
Explore a proposed processing workflow designed for modern fish markets and processing environments.
Concept visual — not an installed NOBIQ system.
Why a controlled workflow matters
Manual preparation can vary with handling, workstation organisation and cleaning practices. The proposed ecosystem separates machine-assisted processing from operator-led preparation.
Proposed workflow
- Fish entry
- Machine-assisted belly opening
- Operator-led entrails removal and internal cleaning
- Operator-controlled washing
- Head preparation; head preserved separately
- Prepared body transferred to the slicer
- Approximately 30 mm slicing, subject to confirmed configuration
Cleaner processing ecosystem
Market introduction: target fish range 0.5–5.5 kg, operator-led washing, head-preserving preparation and approximately 30 mm configured slicing. Suitability and final configuration require confirmation.
How it works
01
Machine-assisted processing
Machine 1 descales and opens the belly or back, according to the agreed configuration. Head cutting is not shown as an automatic function.
02
Operator workstation
An operator cleans the inside, removes gills, washes the fish and prepares or cuts the head on the board.
03
Configured slicing
Prepared fish is fed onto the slicer conveyor for bone-in slicing, subject to confirmed machine and cutting configuration.
Target / proposed configuration
- Target fish weight
- 0.5–5.5 kg
- Configured slicing
- Approximately 30 mm
- Process concept
- Lower-touch / controlled workflow
- Head handling
- Preserved separately
- Washing
- Dedicated operator-controlled washing step
Concept workflow
An illustration of the proposed sequence. Operator-led cleaning and head preparation remain manual. Output dimensions and throughput require confirmation.

Frequently asked questions
Is the process fully automatic?
No. Machine-assisted steps are combined with operator-led cleaning, gill removal, washing and head preparation.
Will it work with every fish?
Suitability and cutting results must be confirmed using the intended fish and agreed configuration.
Can I buy it directly here?
No. Registering interest requests a discussion; it does not confirm an order, configuration, availability or delivery.
